Pricing of our products
All prices found on our website and in our catalogs/brochures are listed in U.S. dollars. While prices are subject to change without notice we do our best to honor all prices found on our website. Due to circumstances beyond our control we may not be able to honor prices found in our paper catalogs/brochures, and therefore suggest you contact us should you be in possession of an old catalog/brochure from our company.
Sales tax
As a business entity operating in the State of New York, taxes, where applicable, will be added to your order. If your organization is tax-exempt please submit the proper tax-exempt form at the time you place your order.
Shipping and handling
Our list prices do NOT include shipping and handling. Due to a number of factors shipping and handling charges will vary. However, if you are using our website catalog to place an order we have included basic shipping expenses whenever possible. We also understand that some customers will have special shipping needs and we will do our absolute best to meet those needs. Simply inquire at the time of your order and we will gladly assist you.
Payment Options
We reserve the right to require prepayment with every order. However, in general, if you are authorized to place an order on behalf of an academic, federal or state institution in the United States we will typically send an invoice with your order. However, you may also provide credit/debit card information at the time of your order if you prefer NOT to be invoiced with your order.
For all other customers prepayment is required until we have established a sufficient business relationship with your organization. We will gladly issue a proforma invoice upon request.
We accept all major credit cards, money orders, and business or personal bank checks written in U.S. funds from a U.S. financial institution.
Wire payment transfers
We will gladly accept wire payment transfers to our bank account, but we reserve the right to charge you for any wire transfer fees we may incur. Please contact us for wire payment transfer information.
General shipping information
All orders are shipped using a major carrier such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. If you have a special shipping request please tell us at the time of your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Return policy
Due to the nature of our business we do our best to accept returns so long as we are contacted within a reasonable amount of time (see below for our standard return timeframes). However, since we are a distributor of other publisher's titles we must follow their guidelines regarding returns. We pledge to do our absolute best to accomodate your return requests of all items you have ordered from us.
Upon approval, returns will be accepted within 45 days of your invoice for domestic U.S. orders and 90 days for orders outside the domestic U.S.
Prior authorization must be obtained before returning any item(s) to us. Simply contact us with the reason for the return and upon approval we will gladly accept your return. However, please note that all material being returned is subject to a reasonable restocking fee (generally not more than 20% of the total purchase price). Items being returned due to damage during transit to your location will not be charged a restocking fee.
Discounts
From time to time we may offer special discounts on select items. Please mention any special discounts at the time of your order.
We will also gladly consider discounts based on the size of your order and other special circumstances.
Review copies
We understand that some customers may wish to review a title before deciding whether or not to purchase it. In these instances we will do our best to honor these requests but reserve the right to require a credit card be provided at the time of your review copy order request. Should you decide to keep the item after 30 days we will simply charge the appropriate amount to your credit card. Returns received within 30 days will not be charged unless the item has been damaged and is not in resalable condition.
