Bridge Publishing Group LLC is an independent, family-owned publisher and distributor of non-fiction law and law-related publications. Our mission is simple, yet critical: to assist authors, publishers, and libraries with the publication, promotion, preservation, and dissemination of content in multiple formats to the global legal research community.

In the 1990s legal publishing in the United States witnessed an unprecedented number of mergers and acquisitions, thus leaving just a few independent publishers to distribute the vast amount of in-depth legal scholarship to the world. As a result, most legal publishers today have become highly-selective in the works they publish in order to maximize profit, oftentimes turning down the opportunity to publish or promote valuable content merely because the audience for that content may be rather small. One of the primary goals of Bridge Publishing Group LLC is to provide an outlet for these "niche" products; ones that might otherwise be considered too narrow for the large legal publishing houses of today.

Also, in this day and age when many publishers have become global aggregators of hundreds of millions of pages of content (thus diluting exposure for so many fine publications!) one of our goals is to help promote these unique products to legal researchers around the world. Prior to becoming a founding member of Bridge Publishing Group LLC, Brian worked in the marketing department for Highlights for Children, one of the most-respected and widely-read educational periodicals in the United States. Before joining Highlights he served as Director of Marketing and Publications for William S. Hein & Co., Inc. for more than 11 years, where he developed extensive relationships with authors, editors, publishers, librarians, and distribution agents worldwide. In his tenure at William S. Hein & Co., Inc. the company greatly expanded its' product offerings and developed one of today's best (and multi-award winning) online legal research products, HeinOnline ( http:heinonline.org ). Brian's vision for Bridge Publishing Group LLC is to develop long lasting relationships with authors, publishers, and libraries around the world to help them disseminate and enhance content offerings to the global legal research community.
